POSTER EXHIBITION |
|
This page is an index of on-line exhibit of 2600 posters of the pre-1945 Japan owned by our institute. These posters are presented in the "slide show format," and each item is show for 8 seconds. The number of posters under one subject is shown in ( ).
Please note that explanations are given in Japanese (English versions of poster files will be created in the near future). However, we are sure that a design and picture of each poster send a strong message of people involved in social and labor movements in the pre-1945 Japan.
To stop the slide show, please click "stop" icon in your browser. To move forward or backward in the show, please click around the right or left arrow on the screen. To go back to the table of contents, please click "Table of Contents" on the screen (that takes you to the Japanese page), then click "Table of Contents (in English)" in the table of contents in Japanese.
